Floorvent is the world’s first smart air brick system, designed to cut heat loss through suspended timber floors while protecting against damp and mould. By combining sensors, weather data through the hub, Floorvent knows when to ventilate and when to close, balancing energy efficiency with healthy airflow.

The Floorvent system includes:

  • Smart air bricks that open and close automatically based on conditions

  • The AirEx Hub that connects the system to enabling optimisation for external conditions  and reporting on underfloor conditions. WiFi and 4G versions available.

AirEx Roomsense

Smart indoor monitoring system for healthier homes

Roomsense gives visibility into what’s happening inside the home. With discreet sensors and a central hub, it continuously monitors temperature, humidity and indoor air quality at room level providing insights so that landlords can identify risks early and plan responses before things become urgent.

The Roomsense system is made up of:

  • Discreet sensors for each room to be monitored

  • The AirEx Hub to connect the system and enable reporting

As Roomsense uses the same hub it can be combined with  Floorvent to combine energy efficiency and monitoring of indoor and underfloor environments in one complete system. 

With Roomsense, landlords and residents can see the impact of ventilation and heating choices, helping to maintain comfort while reducing risks of condensation and poor air quality and enabling planning for interventions or design of new ventilation.

Smart room-level ventilation system

Building on the success of Floorvent, Roomvent will bring smart ventilation to the whole home. Combining sensors, hubs and smart air bricks at room level, it will respond in real time to changing conditions indoors and out.

The system will include:

  • Room level vents  providing adaptive and demand responsive background ventilation as part of a whole house ventilation strategy

  • Roomsense sensors to monitor the internal environment and enable the control of the vents

  • The AirEx Hub connects the system together, allows optimisation based on internal and external conditions and enables reporting on performance and home health.

The result will be an adaptive, energy-efficient ventilation system that helps keep every room healthy and comfortable and homes adaptable and fit for the future. As it also uses the AirEx Hub the Roomvent system will pair with Floorvent for a whole home energy efficiency, ventilation and monitoring package.
