AirEx is delighted to invite you to an exclusive, 3-course dinner on Tuesday 24th February 2026, bringing together sector leaders to discuss the realities, challenges and opportunities of ventilation in existing homes.

Airing the Issues: Challenges and Approaches to Ventilation in Social Housing will take place from

6pm to 10pm at The View, 5th Floor, County Hall, SE1 7PB.

Why Attend

This is a peer-to-peer conversation, designed specifically for asset management leaders, heads of damp and mould, and strategic retrofit decision-makers. The evening will provide an open, trusted space to share experiences, compare approaches and hear insights from respected colleagues in the sector.

We are pleased to confirm attendance from Riverside, Peabody, Clarion, North Yorkshire, RE:GEN and more!

Their contributions, alongside others in the room, will help frame a balanced and informed discussion on the practicalities of ventilation across existing homes.

What to Expect

Guests will be welcomed with a drinks and canapes and informal networking, followed by a relaxed dinner and a guided discussion shaped around three core themes:

  • Residents, homes and moisture – the dynamics behind condensation, damp and mould, and what housing providers can practically influence.

  • Energy efficiency, fuel poverty and heating behaviour – how colder homes, lower heat use and improving airtightness impact ventilation.

  • Practical strategies for healthier homes – what landlords are doing now, what’s working, and where there are gaps.

To ground the discussion, AirEx will share key insights from the Floorvent dataset, including independent analysis from Leeds Beckett University, demonstrating how adaptive ventilation can support healthier homes and reduce heat loss.

We will also give guests an early look at the future of AirEx technology; including Roomvent and our vision for adaptive ventilation control across social housing portfolios, inviting your input to help shape the direction of our product development.

Who Will Be in the Room

We are curating a group of up to twenty senior attendees, with around fifteen leaders from housing associations complemented by a small number of experts in policy, building physics and ventilation. This ensures a focused, high-quality conversation centred firmly on the needs and realities of the sector.
